hi @PrplHaz4, i tried add 1 IPTV record (IPTV Plugin) udp://225.1.2.249:30120 with 4 methods, everything works but get much scratches... maybe jellyfin read data from IPTV stream and relay (re-stream) to client? is there anyway to bypass this (client will stream directly from iptv address)?

I've been thinking about building a Jellyfin server but for it to be useful I would have to download most of the content I want to watch illegally. Later, I saw this post , with most people using stuff like Radarr and Sonarr, which could very well be used to download content illegally, and I started to think about the legality of media servers.

HD HomeRun and m3u/m3u8 and xmltv are native to Jellyfin and you just set them up in Live TV. Some other local tuners (pci/usb) are supported under Other. Any other devices will need to be supported via the plugins. There are quite a few plugins out there to support other stuff to get Live TV into Jellyfin.

Yes it still does (as on January 2020). But IPTV on Plex does not work as well as it used to before 2019. Until about mid 2019, it was possible to watch IPTV on Plex using plugins. A Plex IPTV plugin, such as this one, reads live streams from an IPTV m3u file and passes them to Plex for playing.
